Super Smash Bros. for Wii U gets its own Nintendo Direct

Those leaked game modes by Amazon for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will hopefully be addressed this Thursday. That's when the next Nintendo Direct is, focusing on the upcoming fighting game for the Wii U. The Nintendo Direct begins at 6 PM ET on October 23 (I love when they begin at a reasonable time in our time zone).

The Nintendo Direct will be highlighting "50 new things" about the game, and two of those things should be the stage creation mode and board game mode.

For your coverage of the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Nintendo Direct, make sure you check back on GameZone. Also, make sure you check out our review of the 3DS version of the game.
