Super Smash Bros. gets four more characters

***Update***

Nintendo has clarified today's announcement, confirming that Chrom is not a playable character.

***Original***

Last week, Nintendo promised us one new Super Smash Bros. character reveal today. Instead, we got four.

The first is the return of Captain Falcon.

Then Nintendo revealed a trio of Fire Emblem Awakening characters: Lucina, Robin, and Chrom. There's also an alternate female costume for Robin.

What's weird is that Lucina and Robin are the only two to have official splash screens, so it's a bit unclear as to what role each of the new characters will play in the game. Check out the reveal video below.
