Super Smash Bros-inspired Fright Fight coming to iOS

Fright Fight, a 3D online multiplayer platform fighter inspired by Super Smash Bros., will be launching for iOS devices on February 5, 2014. I know it's not the Nintendo brawler we've all been waiting for, but maybe Fright Fight can hold us over while waiting for a release date for Super Smash Bros. on Wii U or 3DS.

Fright Fight allows you to connect with up to three other players and compete in four-player matches. You can opt to play against random opponents or invite your friends to a game for a spot among the global and local leaderboards. And for those wondering about controls — since those are imperative to a fighter — Fright Fight is said to have an "intuitive gesture based control system" with no on-screen buttons.

At launch Fright Night will have four classic characters — horror, fantasy, and steam punk themed — each with their own upgradeable skill trees and trait systems.

Best of all, Fright Night will be free on the iTunes Store. Look out for the game's release on February 5, 2014.
