Increasingly, it feels like I use my Wii U to play games I owned 15 years ago, rather than buy new titles for the console. The trend continues with the release of Super Street Fighter II Turbo Rival which just made its way to the Virtual Console.
Per the Nintendo site you can “choose from over 16 brawlers from the Street Fighter universe. The original eight world warriors are back, along with four playable boss characters and four newcomers. Execute special moves and super combos to wreak havoc on your opponent.”
I’ll echo the GameInformer comment of wondering why these games aren’t also making their way to the 3DS, but for now, I’ll comfort myself with a ridiculous Russian in red panties who was almost named Vodka Gobalsky.
