Musical-exploration title Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP has sold over 1.5 million units on all platforms since its launch in March 2011. The game has released on iPad, iPhone, Android, PC, Mac, and Linux.
Toronto-based developer Capybara Games shared an infographic today that shows a breakdown of sales. Over 550,000 of those 1.5 million units come from iOS sales. Capybara claims 55 percent of total net revenue and 33 percent of sales from Apple's platform. Humble Bundle 5 was also a big contributor to sales with 34 percent. Android represents a tiny amount in both sectors though that's not surprising considering its problem with piracy.
Steam accounts for about 19 percent of revenue and 7 percent of platform sales.
GI.biz mentions that 86 percent of Apple users paid full price ($5) compared to only 23 percent on Android. Steam saw a 50-50 split between discount and full-price ($8) sales.
