We got our first look at CBS' Supergirl earlier this month and our first impression left us wondering if it was real. It looked almost too similar to the SNL spoof for the stand-alone Black Widow film. The show was intended to make its debut in six months, but the 46-minute pilot has officially leaked online.
There are two leakers for pilot: DiMENSiON and LOL. Both leaked the pilot around a minute apart. DiMENSiON's filesize is 15 times larger that LOL's file, but that's because it's in 1080p. The pilot itself is pretty clean, there aren't any apparent watermarks and no 'property of' warnings on it.
Since the leak there are been over 25,000 downloads of the leaked pilot, a number that will probably go up as more people hear about it.
Supergirl has Melissa Benoist of Glee and Homeland acting as 24-year old Kara Zor-El, otherwise known as Supergirl. She will be falling in love, being an assistant for a "mean" boss, laughing awkwardly, coming to terms with her powers (by probably crying about them) and eventually being a hero.
