SUPERHOT VR gets its first gameplay trailer

It's an all new game in the SUPERHOT universe built from the ground up

Four months ago, the SUPERHOT Team revealed that they were working on a SUPERHOT game for VR. The first gameplay footage has finally been revealed, and what's shown looks very promising. In an official Press Release, the studio revealed that the game isn't simply a port of the original game for the Oculus Touch, but rather a whole new game, built from the ground up, set in the SUPERHOT universe.

The reason that the SUPERHOT Team couldn't simply port the game over had a lot to do with the fact that they needed to account for hand tracking controllers, which is arguably the pinnacle of SUPERHOT VR's design pillars. The game was developed over three years in close cooperation with Oculus and aims to give players the first truly killer app for the Oculus Rift.

SUPERHOT is a first-person shooter and strategy hybrid where players navigate rooms full of enemies while being outmanned and outgunned. The action only moves when the player moves, so you have to think carefully at every step of the way or be shot down.
