SUPERHOT is truly one of the most innovative shooters to come out over the last few years. It's entire premise of the world moving only when the player moves is an idea that feels so simple on the surface, but the controlled chaos that ensues is the stuff hardcore gamers live for. After releasing an all new VR game for the Oculus Touch, the SUPERHOT Team has announced that they are bringing a pretty big update to the game that they are calling "FOREVER."
The FOREVER update brings new modes and challenges to the game that looks to test your skills (even more than the game already did) and is being built in conjunction with the folks at Oculus.
Here's a breakdown of what the update will bring, courtesy an official press release:
- Test your aim where only headshots take out enemies.
- Race against your best scores in bullet-time and real-time.
- Try to complete the game without shooting.
- Get hardcore with faster enemies and less reaction time.
- 10-minute challenge. That's right, just 10 minutes to complete the game.
SUPERHOT VR's FOREVER update is due to release sometime next month, but no release date has been given yet.
