Superman plays a big part in Justice League according to Zack Snyder

Tempered enthusiasm

Justice League doesn't release until later this year and completed filming earlier last year, but that hasn't stopped the anticipation from mounting. The most discussed topic has been the whereabouts of Superman and his role in the movie. Zack Snyder discussed the role Kal-El would have when he sat down with Empire Magazine recently

“Superman does play a big part in this movie. His presence and lack of presence, are big story points…

The quote came from scans from an upcoming issue, which will be available in full shortly. The way the death played out in the film was identical to the Death of Superman comic released 25 years ago, but the return of Superman will be a bit different. There are obviously no plans to bring four different versions of him to Justice League, but there have been rumors he could wear the black suit from the comics as well. No promotional materials have shown Superman yet, and hopefully, they stay that way as it's a major plot point.

The magazine also scanned a new image of the film which you can see below. It shows four of the five living team members, with Aquaman being the sole absence. The film releases November 17th, 2017 and has a lot riding on it for the future of DC films.

Check out the image below and let us know what role you think Superman will play in the film
