Iceflake Studio’s post-apocalyptic city builder Surviving the Aftermath is available on Steam. The title previously launched on the Epic Games Store one year ago. Check out the Steam launch trailer below!
In Surviving the Aftermath, your task is to establish a colony in a post-apocalyptic future. Find survivors, build homes, scavenge for resources, and most importantly, stay alive. And you’ll need any edge against wild animals, bandits, and unforgiving world you can get to do that.
While Surviving the Aftermath got a lot of new content and updates throughout the past year, on Steam the game still remains in Early Access. Thanks to the developer’s roadmap for the game, however, this shouldn’t last long. Only two more major content updates are planned.
Survive and thrive in a post-apocalyptic future — resources are scarce but opportunity calls. Build the ultimate disaster proof colony, protect your colonists, and restore civilization to a devastated world.
Go beyond the colony and explore the wastelands to gather resources, meet rival colonies, and fight off bandits.
There’s still enough reason for new players to be excited. Coinciding with the Steam launch, Surviving the Aftermath also received the ‘Quests’ update. Just as the name implies, this update gives players ample reason to venture out into the world. And out of the safety of their colony.
In multiphase adventures, players will be tasked to search for survivors, venture into unknown territory, and encounter all kinds of people on your way. It’s a great addition that widens the survival aspects with high-risk high-reward missions.
Surviving the Aftermath is now available on Steam for $24.99. Users who own the publisher’s space-survival and colony-sim Surviving Mars further get a 10% discount.
