While we patiently await the release of System Shock Enhanced Edition from Night Dive Studios, it appears as though Otherside Entertainment has taken it upon themselves to bring System Shock 3 to life. A Website appeared earlier this week from Otherside teasing a countdown to some kind of announcement.
Of course, this meant that every who knew how to dig through source codes would have to do their best at uncovering the big secret.
After doing some digging a member of the RPG Codex forum found that the countdown was set to reveal a final teaser for System Shock 3, teasing the words "She's Back 3." The page's source includes a tidbit on Otherside Entertainment saying, "Join the original team behind Ultima Underworld on a quest to rekindle this legendary fantasy RPG series."
Development for System Shock 3 couldn't be in better hands, the Otherside team is made up of Paul Neurath, a co-founder of System Shock developer Looking Glass Studios, as well as former Irrational Games employees and more.
