System Shock remaster passes Kickstarter goal with 16 days to spare

This is one of the few remasters I'm excited for

The interest for the remastered version of System Shock is really high and Night Dive Studios managed to reach their Kickstarter goal with 16 days left to go, leaving plenty of time to reach those glorious stretch goals.

The Kickstarter for the remastered version of cult classic System Shock was announced roughly two months ago and kicked off on June 29. Now with 16 day left to go they have already reached their goal off $900,000 and Night Dive Studios just keeps on raking in cash for the System Shock remaster. At the time of writing they have already amassed $971,936.

This leave Night Dive Studios and anticipating fans a lot of time to reach the stretch goals that has been set up, such as Mac, Linux, and Razer Chroma support, multi language support, and additional narrative and locations. As of now the furthest stretch goal is at $1.9 million, a goal they will probably reach. Though Night Dive Studios will probably reveal more stretch goals since the gif located bellow shows off their plans goingbeyong the $1.9 million mark.

For those on the fence on participating in the Kickstarter or haven't heard of System Shock then Night Dive Studios has prepared a playable demo to show what their up to and what players can expect.

With both a System Shock 3 in development and the remaster being fully funded it seems like the System Shock series is on its way back.
