Take a look at Microsoft’s new Xbox One controller

Following the discovery of a new Xbox One controller design from Microsoft, an Australian retailer has given us our first look at it.

As you can see from the images posted by Libro, the controller looks very much like the original one that shipped with Xbox One consoles. The big difference, which you can't really see in the images, is the addition of a 3.5mm headphone jack which was outlined on the Xbox support website. As for the unique design, well, that appears to be a special Covert Forces edition. I'm sure the regular controller will be the simple Xbox black.

Microsoft has yet to formally announce the new controller, but did hint that some sort of announcement will be made at E3. According to Libro, the new controller will release on June 8th, which means an announcement could actually come before the annual trade show next month.
