Take to the slopes in two free modes for SSX

Electronic Arts has released two free modes for the latest SSX game via download.

Freeride mode lets players take to the slopes without having to bother with objectives. This addition came largely from fan request.

The online mode 3-2-1-Go! challenges five riders to a simultaneous competition of Trick It and Race It. Whoever achieves the highest score and crosses the finish line before time expires is the winner.

EA has also lowered the price of the game to $39.99.

The company has also teased eight-player head-to-head multiplayer.
