Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. Announces Exclusive Distribution Agreement With Empire Interactive 

LEADING WORLDWIDE CONSOLE AND PC PUBLISHER BRINGS LINEUP TO TAKE-TWO COMPANIES

 

NEW YORK, May 25, 2000-Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO), announced today an agreement with Empire Interactive, providing Take-Two with exclusive North American console distribution rights and Take-Two’s TalonSoft subsidiary with exclusive North American PC distribution rights.

 

The multi-product agreement includes PC and console products, such as Sheep for PC and console, Enemy Engaged RAH-66 Comanche versus KA-52 Hokum for PC, and Speedball 2100 for console. The first titles under this agreement are expected to be released in Summer 2000.

 

“We are excited to be entering into this partnership with Empire Interactive,” said Take-Two Interactive Vice President of Business Development Jamie Leece. “This agreement adds additional depth to Take Two’s already impressive calendar 2000 schedule.”
