Anyone looking to turn $200 worth of games into $120 should take note. Target is bringing back their Buy 2, Get 1 free on video games early next month according to the renowned leaker of all things gaming, Wario64. The sale will run the week of March 5th, but unfortunately, it does come with some restrictions.
Here's the tweet from Wario64:

Most notably, the deal will not cover Nintendo Switch launch games, so if you were hoping to save a little on your launch game spending, it's not going to happen. But, the sale will include a number of other new major games such as Horizon: Zero Dawn, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, For Honor, and Resident Evil 7. There's also Breath of the Wild on Wii U if you aren't planning on being an early Switch adopter as well.
It's also worth noting that the sale does cover digital download games, so if you aren't a fan of lugging physical copies around, you do have that option. Also, just make sure that if you are going to take advantage of the deal, remember that whatever game of your three is the cheapest, that's the one that Target will make free. So if you can, it's best to go full price on each of the three games so you can get the most value out of the sale.
