Pokemon Sun and Moon players are no strangers to free Pokemon giveaways, and during October, there will now be two opportunities to grab some Pocket Monsters. While GameStop's Marshadow giveaway is undoubtedly the highlight, Target will be giving away download codes for a Level 50 Charizard beginning on October 1st.
Charizard comes with a formidable moveset, which consists of Dragon Dance, Flare Blitz, Fly, and Earthquake. It comes holding a Red Card which removes your opponent's Pokémon from battle and switches it with a random one in their party if Charizard is attacked.
Target is also selling an exclusive Trading Card Game bundle called the Charizard-GX Premium Collection. It comes with a Charizard-GX promo card, a collector's pin, and more, so if you're a fan of the TCG, be sure to check it out. The Charizard game code giveaway only lasts until October 14th, so you don't have much time to grab one. Also be sure to redeem the code by February 4th, 2018, which is when it expires.
To redeem the code just hit "Mystery Gift" on the main menu then select "Receive Gift."
Press "Get with Code/Password," then Yes, and then Yes again to connect to the Internet and then enter the code. Head into the game and get over to a Pokemon Center and speak with the Delivery Man (the tall guy with the bright orange shirt). He'll give you the Charizard, but make sure to save your game immediately because if you back out, Charizard is lost forever.
Pokemon Sun and Moon is available now on Nintendo 3DS, and its sequels Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will release on November 17th, 2017.
