Teaser for the next Tales game is very … teasy

We've know for some time that Namco Bandai was going to promote its next Tales game at the Tales of Festival. Additionally, we found out that the publisher would run commercials during a Japanese show called Hey! Hey! Hey! Music Champ.

The commercial aired, and, well, it didn't really show us anything groundbreaking about the upcoming Tales game. The title, which is currently dubbed Next Tales of, seems to be about a girl and destruction (a lovely combination), as Andriasang states that the tagline is "Are you prepared to destroy the world for the girl?" How exciting/terrifying!

Next Tales of will not be a spin-off, but rather a mothership (main) entry in the long-running JRPG franchise. No word on when the game will launch or for what consoles it will be available. Expect some news on the Japanese version, hopefully in the near future. The sooner we learn the Japanese launch date, the sooner we can begin speculating if the game will ever come to North America.
