Warner Bros. revealed the follow-up to Middle-earth: Shadow or Mordor last week after Target jumped the gun by listing the game ahead of its announcement. The announcement of Middle-earth: Shadow of War was filled with details, but did not feature much (if any) gameplay.
According to an extremely brief teaser, we will be getting a look at Middle-earth: Shadow of War's gameplay later this week on Wednesday, March 8th. The initial announcement for the game detailed that the Nemesis System had been expanded to "new heights" with Followers and Fortresses.
Followers will add new stories of loyalty and revenge to the game, while Fortresses will allow players to utilize different strategies to conquer strongholds and create personalized worlds.
It's unclear if these will be featured in the gameplay reveal, however, we can hope they will be.
