Tecmo Koei made a huge mistake when shipping Sangokushi VIII (part of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series here in the West), released as a budget game this week in Japan.
Customers who bought the PSP title loaded the UMD to discover the game's predecessor Sangokushi VII instead.
The company has ceased all sales of the tactical RPG and is issuing replacements for current owners. Talk about a costly slip.
