Tekken 7 project gets an extended teaser trailer

During Bandai Namco Games' Fighting Game panel at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, the company debuted an extended cut version of the Tekken 7 project trailer.

During the panel, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada shared the first bit of details about the game, revealing that the game's plot will have a "very detailed background story" that will serve as the conclusion of the Mishima clan saga. Apparently, the story will answer why Heihachi is trying to kill his grandson, why Heihachi threw Kazuya off a cliff, and other Tekken mysteries.

You may also notice that today's trailer lacks gameplay. That's because the team is "still formulating the basic gameplay systems and polishing them," Harada said. So in the meantime, just enjoy the trailer.
