Tekken 7’s release date to be revealed next week

There hasn't been a whole lot of news on the Tekken 7 front since the game was officially announced back at E3 2016. All we've known is that the game was due to come out sometime in early 2017 (which would be around now), but there has been no word. That will officially end next week according to the game's official Twitter account. Here's the official tweet:

As far as what day exactly it will happen remains unknown. Naturally, fans have asked the question prompting a hilariously vague "either Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday" response from the game's social media staff.

We got some hands-on time with the game back at Comic-con Stockholm 2016 and came away feeling good about the game overall. If you want to check out our impressions, you can head over here. Otherwise, we'll just sit on our hands and knees waiting for Bandai Namco to announce the date.
