It’s time for another Saturday afternoon look at what’s on sale on Steam. Provided you didn’t blow your paychecks last night; Steam has a more in-depth offering of quality games on sale this weekend. While there aren’t any superstar level must-haves, this weekend serves as an excellent chance to pick up some older games that you may have passed on in previous years for some premium value.
Telltale as a Publisher’s Weekend going on right now in which it has slashed the price of every game in their catalog, from their early work with Back to the Future and Jurassic Park up to Batman: The Enemy Within and Guardians of the Galaxy. Bethesda has also launched another free-to-play weekend for Fallout 4, coinciding with a 50% discount on the standard version of the game. While Fallout 4 hasn’t been nearly as well received as its predecessor, you might want to give it a try since it’s free-to-play, and $15 is a pretty solid price point.
There are also a few Early Access launches that are worth highlighting. Batallion 1944, Freeman Guerilla Warfare, and Trailmakers all launched this week alongside early adopter discounts with Batallion ranking among Steam’s top sellers and the latter two earning “Very Positive” user feedback ratings. Suffice it to say; they are at least worth looking into.
As always here’s a breakdown of the highlights of this weekend’s Steam sales.
