Telltale Games joins GOG Galaxy, starting with Game of Thrones

GOG.com's DRM-free online gaming platform GOG Galaxy will now support Telltale Games titles, starting today with the arrival of Telltale's Game of Thrones series.

Coinciding with the worldwide premiere of Episode 4: Sons of Winter, GOG.com is discounting the entire series by 40 percent during launch.

But while Game of Thrones is the highlight of this new partnership, past and future Telltale Games will also soon release on the platform, including The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands, and all seasons of The Walking Dead. All Telltale Games to premiere on GOG.com will be DRM-free and include GOG Galaxy support for one-click installation, auto-updating, game time tracking, and achievements.

"Thanks to GOG Galaxy, we're able to bring in major new titles, and the award-winning Telltale series are a prime example of that," said Guillaume Rambourg, Managing Director at GOG.comGamers finally get to enjoy the engaging, story-driven adventures DRM-free: anywhere and at any time – but also benefit from achievements and other optional GOG Galaxy features if they want to. It's the freedom of choice that GOG.com is all about."

The launch discount for Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series will last until May 30, 12:59 PM GMT.
