Telltale Games has made point and click adventures like The Walking Dead and Borderlands come to life in a captivating and new (and emotional — looking at you Walking Dead) way. The open-world building/crafting/survival simulation game Minecraft is getting the Telltale treatment.
Last December, Telltale announced their intention to bring about Minecraft: Story Mode, a narrative driven episodic game series. While Minecraft's story may have eluded most players, Telltale decided to make a story and release five episodes of the narrative this year.
Minecraft: Story Mode is headed to the Xbox One and 360, PS3, PS4, PC, Mac, Android, OS and recently revealed — Wii U. The Wii U has never experienced a Minecraft game (or a traditional Animal Crossing), which means that Wii U owners will finally have the chance to experience a game that is nothing like Minecraft, except for the title (but will probably have fun anyway).
There is no announced release date, but the game will be at PAX Prime.
