As confirmed by several GameZone readers, and developer Telltale Games, The Wolf Among Us is experiencing issues when Season Pass owners are attempting to redeem Episode 2: Smoke & Mirrors, which released earlier this week. Instead of unlocking the latest episode automatically, they are being asked to pay for it individually. Obviously, this is not supposed to happen.
Telltale Games is currently working with Microsoft to issue a title update that should resolve the issue, but that isn't coming for a few days. So in the meantime, all The Wolf Among Us Season Pass owners will be sent a message through the Xbox 360 that contains a code to download Episode 2 for no additional charge.
For those who haven't bought the Season Pass, you can still do so and you'll just be sent a code through the Xbox 360 as well. Telltale notes that there may be a delay of up to 48 hours in receiving your individual episode code.
"We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused our Season Pass customers but we are glad that we are able to provide your content to you in this way while we work closely with Microsoft to issue the necessary title update," Telltale said in a statement.
Once you receive your code, simply follow these steps to redeem The Wolf Among Us Episode 2: Smoke & Mirrors:
