Telltale Games, the developer behind last year's successful episodic adventure series The Walking Dead, may be working on a Game of Thrones adaptation, sources tell IGN.
Others (like developer Cyanide and publisher Atlus with their action role-playing game) have tried to turn George R. R. Martin's A Game of Thrones fantasy novels into video games and have been unsuccessful, so it's certainly a good subject for Telltale to tackle. But the company's involvement is unconfirmed at this point.
"We get these sorts of rumors about what we could be working on next cropping up all the time," Steve Allison, Telltale's senior vice president of publishing, told IGN. "Officially we have no comment."
Telltale is currently preparing the second episode of its new adventure series The Wolf Among Us (based on Vertigo Comics' Fables comic book) for release and developing the second season of The Walking Dead.
