Telltale’s Game of Thrones Episode 1: Iron From Ice ‘premiering soon’

Little is known about Telltale Games' Game of Thrones, a video game series adaptation of George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire book series. We've had a few teasers featuring snippets from various books in Martin's series, but nothing of great value in terms of letting us know what Telltale's story is about.

Apparently, that doesn't really matter, as the developer/publisher teased today that Episode One: Iron From Ice of the six-part game series will "premiere soon."

The announcement came alongside an image of the Iron Throne, but did little to let us in on the game's story. A cool takeaway from today's teaser, however, is the notion that the first season of Telltale's Game of Thrones season could be six episodes long; normally, a typical Telltale season for their games consists of five episodes. I'm sure the sixth episode will reflect in the price of the Season Pass, but it's cool that we're getting an even longer experience.

We'll remain on the lookout for any more teasers or information regarding Telltale's Game of Thrones.
