Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy Series Confirmed for April

Last week, rumors of Telltale's new Guardians of the Galaxy series started to surface, including a release date. Today it's been confirmed. The first of five episodes, called "Tangled Up in Blue," launches on April 18 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, iOS and Android.

The episode alone costs $5, and a physical disc for those who prefer it will be available May 2 in North America (which updates like normal when new episodes release.)

A new trailer for the episode will premiere on Thursday, March 30 (check out GameZone for that release!)

This new Guardians of the Galaxy game is based more on the comics than the upcoming movie, although the release around the movie's release implies taking advantage of name recognition. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 premieres in May.
