Season 3 of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead game series is still a ways off, but the developer teased during SXSW this week that more content is on the way — and should arrive before the actual third season.
It's similar to what they did last year when they released the 400 Days DLC — a collection of interwoven stories that bridged the gap between Season 1 and Season 2. We don't know for certain what this new content will consist of, but I think we can assume something similar.
"[Season three] is not necessarily something you can expect to see super, super soon…" Telltale PR chief Job J Stauffer said during a panel at SXSW, "but I think you can maybe perhaps expect to see The Walking Dead again sooner."
At this point, we know absolutely nothing about Season 3, and *SPOILER* while it's possible it could continue our adventures as Clementine, I think all the possible different endings might result in Season 3 consisting of an entirely different set of characters. If that's the case, than new DLC would definitely be helpful in familiarizing us with them. Of course, the DLC could also serve as a way to get everyone on the same page again as Clementine — that's assuming we still want to play as Clem. Do you?
