Tenacious D headlines Guitar Hero Live’s new track reveals

It's Tuesday so you know what that means, another 10 tracks revealed for Guitar Hero Live.

Admittedly, my knowledge in the music scene is rather limited, so while I recognize the names of many of the bands in this week's reveal, their actual songs are foreign to me. In fact, many of the songs revealed for Guitar Hero Live I've never heard. So either I'm really out of touch with what's popular now, or Activision is taking a unique approach with the new game.

Having just come back from seeing Rush in Tampa Bay, why am I not seeing any Tom Sawyer listed yet? Don't think it gets much better than Alex Lifeson on guitar.

Whatever, here are the newly announced tracks:

  • Halestorm – Love Bites (So Do I)
  • Tenacious D – Tribute
  • Beartooth – I Have A Problem
  • Pearl Jam – Mind Your Manners
  • Rise Against – Tragedy + Time
  • Soundgarden – Been Away Too Long
  • Anthrax – Got The Time
  • Architects – Gravedigger
  • Chevelle – The Clincher
  • A Day To Remember – Right Back At It Again

With these 10 songs included, the total number of tracks in Guitar Hero Live now sits at 44. Already confirmed tracks include Mailyn Manson's "Disposable Teens", Of Mice & Men's "Bones Exposed," The Rolling Stones "Paint it Black", System of a Down's "Chop Suey!" and much, much more.

Check out the first 24 songs revealed, along with last week's ten from #TrackListTuesday.
