Blizzard announced today that the closing concert of BlizzCon 2010 will be performed by none other than the tenacious ones themselves – Jack Black and Kyle Gass.
“The best way to wrap up two days of epic entertainment is with an epic rock concert—and few bands fit the bill like Tenacious D,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “We’re looking forward to a great show and can’t wait to see what Jack and Kyle have in store for everyone attending BlizzCon and watching from home.”
Last year’s concert was performed by Ozzy Osbourne.
BlizzCon 2010 is taking place October 22-23 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Tickets for the event are already sold out, but anyone wishing to watch at home can order a BlizzCon Virtual Ticket, which will allow access to over 50 hours of coverage–including Tenacious D’s performance–online or through DIRECTV. The virtual ticket costs $39.95 USD.
