U.K. studio Nyamyam is delaying the release of its pop-up puzzle-adventure Tengami from this summer to later this year.
A group of ex-Rare developers founded the company in 2010. The studio's upcoming debut game resembles Japanese papercraft in its visual style, and the world folds out like a pop-up book.
"While Tengami is definitely coming out this year, we still have a fair amount of work to do, and therefore we won’t be releasing this summer," a post by co-founder Jennifer Schneidereit on Nyamyam's blog reads. "We are sorry for making you wait so long, but we have spent almost three years on Tengami now and want to keep working on it until we feel it is ready."
Tengami will release on iOS first and follow on Wii U, PC, and Mac. "More platforms are possible, but we have our hands full with these four for now," wrote Schneidereit.
