It's been over 26 years since Terminator 2: Judgement Day hit theaters, but it wasn't enough. The film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger has been converted into 3D for the first time ever and will be making a rerelease!
Why the sequel instead of the first film? It might have something to do with Terminator 2 being the highest grossing film of all five titles in the franchise. You can catch Terminator 2: Judgement Day in theaters on August 25th.
As for future Terminator films, franchise director James Cameron will be overseeing the upcoming Terminator film, which will be directed by Deadpool's director, Tim miller. This Terminator film is set to release in 2019.
