Terraria 1.2 update coming October 1

Update 1.2 for Terraria is coming on October 1, according to developer Re-Logic's Andrew Spinks and his Twitter account. Yesterday, Spinks tweeted:

"The news you have all been waiting for… The update will be out on October 1st!"

There's little known about the update, but a trailer should be coming soon to give the details of it. The 1.2 update comes almost two years after the developers said they were done updating the game. All that remains for update 1.2 is balancing, bug testing and tying up losse ends. Update 1.2 will be free through Stream to all Terraria owners.
