After making its way to Xbox 360, PS3, and PS Vita, Terraria will dig its way to PS4 and Xbox One. Publisher 505 Games announced today that the 2D sandbox action-adventure game will be released on next-gen (well, this gen I guess) systems "later in 2014."
All of the 1.2 content will be included alongside "some brand new functionality." I'm assuming this means some sort of console-specific features. We do know for sure that cross-play and cross-save with PS Vita will be supported.
The PS4 version of Terraria will be shown behind closed doors next week at E3, so be sure to check back. 505 Games also hinted that we could get some "sneak-peak" screenshots next week as well.
