Terry Cavanagh’s VVVVVV coming to more platforms

VVVVVV is coming to multiple new platforms this year, indie creator Terry Cavanagh announced on his blog.

The puzzle-platformer, which is already available on PC, Mac, and 3DS, will release for PlayStation Vita, iPad and iPhone, Android, and Ouya sometime in 2014.

"And, if I can manage it, all at the same time," wrote Cavangh. "This will very likely be the last thing I ever do with VVVVVV, and I wanna go out with a bang!"

Nicalis, which ported the title to 3DS, is working on the Vita version. Cavanagh wrapped up the iOS version, which he's been developing "for over a year now," over the holidays.

"VVVVVV is always going to be really damn important to me," he wrote. "It’s my Final Fantasy, the game that changed everything for me."
