Terry Crews asks fans if he should voice Overwatch’s Doomfist

The Successor could be coming soon

Actor Terry Crews is giving Overwatch fans a lot to digest today after he asked fans if they’d like to see him voice Doomfist in Overwatch.

The news comes just a few weeks after Crews visited Blizzard HQ. Many fans were speculating the possible Doomfist connection, but today’s social media post from Crews is all but confirming it.

Crews had nothing but great things to say about his visit on his social media page:

“LOVED my visit with the geniuses at BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT today, and meeting the creators of one of my favorite games! OVERWATCH! LETS GO!” – Terry

Crews is very close to gaming culture, taking part in Conan O’Brien’s Battlefield 1 Clueless Gamer segment where he revealed that he helped build a gaming PC for his son as a way to bond with him.

As for Doomfist, in Overwatch lore he’s a notorious hero/villain who uses a massive gauntlet that is wielded by different people. There’s been a “Savior,” a “Scourge,” and a mysterious “Successor,” who is teased throughout the Numbani map.

Despite Crews' post, Blizzard has yet to reveal its plans for Doomfist.
