Teslagrad now available on Wii U

The Rain Games' puzzle platformer Teslagrad is now available on the Wii U. Formerly available on PC only, Teslagrad has been praised by many already. Taking advantage of the Wii U, the game features new controls and off-TV play using the Gamepad — so we're anxious to see how gameplay translates to console.

As I mentioned, Teslagrad is a puzzle platformer with action elements. You play as a young boy who suddenly finds himself embroiled in a long-forgotten conspiracy, involving the despotic king who has ruled the nation with an iron fist for several years. Magnetisim and other electromagnetic powers are the key to advancing through the game, with secrets kept in the long abandoned Tesla Tower. As you explore this non-linear, steampunk-inspired world — a vision of old Europe — you'll gain new abilities which will help for those old-school boss fights.

Teslagrad is available to download through the Nintendo eShop for $14.99. If you're currently on the fence, check back later this week for our review.
