Test-driving a Star Wars speeder bike looks cool

Over the years GameZone has covered stories where the idea of putting together a real-life Star Wars speeder bike was firmly on the table, even for the US army at one point, but now one of the bikes is ready for a test-drive.

Don't believe us? Check out the video below!

We would advise that you do lower your volume down on the device that you're watching the video with, however if you didn't see this warning beforehand, you have probably enjoyed the immensely loud sound of wind by now.

The "Star Wars" speeder bike presented in Vintage Works' video is very much based on the original version, after all, we can all remember the rather noticeable wheels in the original Star Wars trilogy… Oh no, that's right, they hovered.

Ten out of ten for effort, but sadly it just doesn't quite meet the expectations of the people in the video's comments section.

Usually, though, we would have to flag the fact that the man in the video isn't wearing any protective equipment as a safety concern. With that being said, we all know that his fellow Stormtroopers would miss if they tried to blast him anyway… So he should be just fine.
