TGA 2016: Zelda Breath of the Wild reveals two new trailers

We've been waiting for more footage on the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ever since E3. We had a live special event at The Game Awards as well as extended coverage of multiple trailers and gameplay.

The first one, shown during the preshow, took us off of the plateau shown in the E3 demo and helped us get a glimpse of the in depth battle system and expansive environment. The first trailer, titled Life in the Ruins, can be seen below

Once the show began, a bit later on Reggie took the stage to reveal a bit more about the Most Anticipated Game of the Year recipient. An extended gameplay quest showed Link in search for a minstrel in the Zonai Ruins section of Hyrule. Enemies hidden in blades of grass, Link's special moves and even some of his weapons break in battle after repeated use.

A developer play through led us right up to the beginning of a shrine, but a quick tease left us hanging for what's to come next. No release date was announced, but still 2017 window with no further breakdown. Check out the second gameplay below.
