TGAs 2018: Dauntless is coming to Xbox One and PS4 in April 2019

The PC exclusive action-RPG is coming to consoles.

Monster Hunter-like Dauntless will be ending its PC exclusivity this spring as it heads to Xbox One and PS4. Just announced at The Game Awards, the team behind the acclaimed action RPG has revealed their plans to bring the game to consoles and even mobile devices and Nintendo Switch at a later date.

The team at Phoenix Labs is planning to create a unified Dauntless experience across all platforms that allows players to participate in not only cross-play but cross-platform progression and account management.

“At Phoenix Labs we define ourselves through a transparent development relationship with our community and strong focus on inclusivity, both at the studio and in our game,” said Jesse Houston, co-founder and CEO of Phoenix Labs. “With our upcoming platform launches in April and One Dauntless, we will soon be able to welcome and connect players worldwide like never before. The journey of Dauntless is just beginning in the ever-evolving online world of the Shattered Isles, and we’re excited to share many more years of experiences with our players.”

Players will have a “One Dauntless” account that links between platforms, allowing them to have one core account they can progress wherever they please. You can view an all-new trailer for the game below.

Dauntless will hit on Xbox One and PS4 as a free download sometime in April 2019 with a Nintendo Switch and mobile version at a later date.
