Thanks to Rick and Morty, a packet of Mulan Szechuan sauce sold for nearly $15,000

If you're a Rick and Morty fan, you're probably aware of the importance of Mulan Szechuan dipping sauce, if you're not aware, do some quick Googling and catch up with the times… Or just watch it in the video clip below:

The thirst for the discontinued McNugget dipping sauce from 1998 was so real after the release of  Rick and Morty's first episode from Season 3 that someone paid $14,700 for just one Mulan Szechuan dipping sauce packet.

Apparently, the seller struck gold after buying a new car and watch Rick and Morty.

"I just bought a really old car, while cleaning it I found a packet of this sauce. After watching the recent episode of Rick and Morty I went online to see if it was worth anything. Turns out it was. Also this comes with a packet of wasabi as well," said the auction's description.

“I hope somebody who wants to eat some 20-year-old gnarly sauce gets this,” continued the seller. “I would prefer not to sell it to a collector.”

The packet was bid on 187 times before it was sold.
