Remember that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Nintendo Switch bundle leaked yesterday? We assumed it would be revealed at last night's Nintendo Direct, but we were wrong. It leaked on the Russian Nintendo site because it was a bundle only for Russia.
A Redditor named Lord_Daenar spotted the listing on the website before it was taken down. It was listed for 24,999 RUB, which is about $440 USD.
“The bundle is exclusive to Russia and there are no plans to bring it to other countries at this time,” A Nintendo representative told Gamespot.
Regardless of this arguably disappointing news, it will surely help Nintendo Switch sales in Russia, and when the game launches, we expect a boost in sales in America as well.
