The Art of Destiny 2, a 216-page hardcover book is releasing later this year

Destiny 2 is gearing up to dominate the headlines in the next few weeks, and while all of the focus will be on the gameplay, dedicated fans will be able to get their hands on a 216-page art book later this year. Titled, The Art of Destiny 2, the book is described as the "definitive collection for the game’s stunning art and design." A pre-order page for the book is now open on Amazon.com, though the release date listed appears to be either a placeholder or type.

Amazon currently lists the book's release date as September 8th, 2017, the same day as the release of the game, but outlets like Game Rant and Gaming Bolt report the date as October 3rd. Given that the October 3rd date is cited as coming directly from Bungie and Activision, it's wise to assume that this one is the correct date.

Destiny 2 will be getting its official gameplay reveal at an event next month on May 18th, and it has been confirmed that the game will be shown off on both PC and PS4, but not Xbox One.

Destiny 2 releases on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 8th, 2017.
