The Avengers gag-reel was hilarious, and then it was taken down

This morning, a gag-reel from the DVD and Blu-ray release of The Avengers could be seen on YouTube. It was hilarious. Unfortunately, you can't find it now, as it's been taken down from every channel that had it up. I'd say that I didn't see that coming… but I saw that coming. The highlights of it were:

  • Tony Stark continuously poking Bruce Banner
  • Bruce Banner running away when he hears a loud roar
  • Chris Evans' Captain America not being able to put on a parachute
  • Captain America catching his shield and fighting enemies (that weren't CGI'd into the film yet, while next to him, Chris Hemsworth's Thor is bobbling Mjolnir (his hammer)
  • Tom Hiddleston (Loki) doing an awesome Alan Rickman (Severus Snape from Harry Potter) impression
  • and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) making a joke about Star Trek that just isn't funny

I'm happy I got to watch it. Sorry you couldn't. Guess you'll have to wait til September 17, 2012 when The Avengers will assemble on DVD and Blu-ray.
