The Batmobile Got an Upgrade For the Justice League Movie

Any chance to upgrade, huh Bruce?

San Diego Comi Con is happening right now, and on the show floor preview last night, the new Batmobile from the upcoming Justice League movie was revealed. It's been given a significant upgrade.

For those who saw Batman v Superman, you may remember a particular scene where the Batmobile got pretty much wrecked by Superman. In typical Batman fashion, he upgrades it in time for the next film.

But that's not all, Warner Bros. has actually given specs on the new vehicle:

"The hybrid prototype military and civilian vehicle, reaching speeds of up to 205 MPH, has been integrated with the latest in covert military grade armaments as well as stealth and active protective systems. With twin .50 caliber retractable machine guns, missile launchers and more, the Justice League Batmobile is over 20 feet long and weighs in at a whopping 8,500 lbs."

There was even a smaller version of the new Batmobile on the SDCC show floor for those who didn't get to see this full version. Check it out.

Batman v Superman was a mixed bag of delight and disappointment. Ultimately, the visuals and casting were mostly on point, but the movie itself is up for debate. It's no secret that Wonder Woman was one of the best parts of the film and her recently released solo film is pretty widely accepted as the best of the new DC movie line.
