The Bloodborne demo kicked your ass

I'll be the first to admit that being dropped into the middle of a game you've never played before without any sort of prior experience isn't easy. Now imagine that happening, but with a game designed by the creators of Dark Souls. You'll start to understand why just one percent of PAX Prime and Tokyo Game Show attendees were able to actually defeat the boss at the end of Bloodborne's show floor demo.

According to DualShockers, Producer Masaaki Yamagiwa and Marketer Yasuhiro Kitao were boasting about the difficulty of Bloodborne at a recent stage event. They revealed that of the 3,500 PAX Prime attendees who actually tried the demo, only 20 managed to kill the Cleric Beast at the end. Tokyo Game Show attendees showed a bit more promise as about 40 of the 1,250 attempts were successful.

Again, being dropped into a game like Bloodborne isn't easy, but one percent? Come on, guys, you're better than that.

You'll be able to exact your revenge on the Cleric Beast when Bloodborne releases on February 6, 2015, exclusively on PS4.
