Publisher Nordic Games has brought The Book of Unwritten Tales to our side of the globe. Finally! The KING Art-developed title, which offers adventure gameplay and a comical storyline, was originally released in Europe, where it was received to wide critical acclaim. Now, us North Americans will be able to get some sweet and slippery critical acclaim and slather it all over The Book of Unwritten Tales, too. Mmhmm!
Check out the launch trailer above to get an idea as to what you can expect of the game's writing and tone. It's pretty lighthearted stuff, which is something worth appreciating in story-driven point-and-click adventure games.
You can download The Book of Unwritten Tales at a number of digital download outlets including Steam and GOG.com. The game is priced at $19.99, but you can currently save two bucks as part of a launch deal, which means you'll be able to buy a bag of chips to go with your vidya game purchase!
Additionally, the Digital Deluxe Edition is also available for $24.99 ($22.99 right now). This version includes the 22-track soundtrack, 47-page making of booklet, and a short video on the game. If you're in the market for a new adventure game, check out The Book of Unwritten Tales, and watch out for our review right here on GameZone.
