The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Reveal Trailer has more dislikes than likes on YouTube

It's a war of attrition between the fans and the haters (also known as closet fans)

The logical thing to do when you don't like something is to ignore it. Then again, no one ever accused the general public of being logical either, so it's no surprise that the reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare that launched yesterday currently holds almost 6,000 more Dislikes than Likes on the official YouTube page.

The video has garnered over 5 million views in just over 24 hours, so it's not a stretch to say that there are a fair number of people flocking to the video just to bash it. However, when compared to last year's Call of Duty: Black Ops III Reveal Trailer, the number of likes to dislikes is significantly more positive (392K Likes to 78K Dislikes), so there also might be a legitimate negative reaction among fans about the direction the game is going.

Criticism about the trailer sure hasn't been in short supply either as Developers from Call of Duty's closest competitor, Battlefield expressed their own playful jabs at Infinite Warfare's expense. This latest iteration of the long running annual series is certainly taking itself in a new direction, as the game will have legit space dogfighting scenarios as well as non-linear side missions.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will launch on current gen platforms only, PS4, Xbox One and PC, on November 4th 2016.
